Caminhos de Rosa is based on living experience, based on the single journey of Guimarães Rosa, the main national writer of the 20th century, in the hinterland of Minas Gerais. Our greatest expertise is to promote unique and personalized experiences, based on the stories that the great Minas Gerais writer lived in the hinterland of Minas. We were born with the initial proposal to hold a foot race competition, an ultramarathon. We wanted to go through Caminho da Boiada accompanied by Rosa in 1952, and we did. As Guimarães Rosa used to say, “Things change in the slow pace of time.” And just as it is with life, the path, the sertanejo and the sertão. But we continue with the initial essence of Boiada, the experience, the experience. This path was the only one that Guimarães experienced in the hinterland, which has proof that he really was there. But his life, his works gained such notoriety that everyone in the hinterland has something to tell about his passage in the most diverse places in that Minas Gerais hinterland.
