The sports event called ULTRA MARATHONA GALO VÉIO 2023 was instituted in the official calendar of the municipality of Mariana - MG, Law nº 3.182/2017.


The event will be held on June 17th and 18th, 2023, governed by the rules of the CBAT, CBE and FMA.


This event was founded and inspired by the character of former runner Jaime Estevão, known as Galo Véio, a beloved sportsman and very popular for his simplicity and dedication.


Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the test was changed in two editions. Returning in 2021, where its fifth edition was celebrated.
