SP City Marathon 2023

The SP CITY MARATHON, the second Run Cities event of the year, in 2022 remained the largest marathon in São Paulo and the second largest in Brazil, totaling more than 16,000 participants. The 42K and 21K routes are an invitation to get to know - with your own feet - the fifth largest metropolis in the world.

In addition to being part of the international long-distance running calendar, the SP CITY MARATHON has valid results for competitions that require proof of time, such as the Boston Marathon, the continental and world championships and the Olympics.

RUN CITIES was born in 2017 for exactly this purpose: to be a half marathon (21,097K) and marathon (42,195K) circuit with AIMS international standard and certification in three Brazilian capitals - São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília.

The RUN CITIES circuit comprises the following events: SP City Marathon, SP City Half Marathon, Rio City Half Marathon and BSB City Half Marathon. The routes are planned for you to explore tourist spots, contemplate wonderful landscapes, observe historic sites and conquer three major cities in Latin America.

The events are part of the world street racing calendar and follow a series of international technical criteria, guaranteeing races with verified distances, precise timing and adequate hydration.
