Insanity Mountain - Mestre Álvaro

SKYrunning defined as mountain running above 2,000m on extremely technical trails. Three disciplines define the sport that are not just based on distance, but on vertical ascent and technical difficulty:

Sky, SkyUltra and Vertical. With a minimum of paved route, which can cross through various environments (mountains, mountains, trails, waterfalls in the most varied terrains) the extended is in a group and the winner is the one who makes the shortest time in the race circuit (general and categories) .

This stage is part of the South American Skyrunning Championship (Continental), the South American one aims to evaluate and reward the best

athletes and teams from south america. Each selection can send 2 or more athletes per Sky modality, being SKYRACE, VK and SKYULTRA.

VERTICAL KILOMETER – Uphill only races with a vertical climb of 1,000m on variable terrain, not exceeding 5km in length. The minimum average slope must be 20% and 5% of the total distance must be greater than 33%.
