The Borba Gato Marathon is an event designed for those looking for a challenge, contact with nature, a charming look and an adventurous atmosphere with the support of the 2nd Borba Gato Combat Engineering Battalion

which celebrates its 78th anniversary.

The event features a UPHILL challenge of 21 and 42 kilometers on May 13, 2023 on a dirt route, leaving the city of Paraisópolis, passing through Serra da Luminosa, with a total altitude of 1380 meters accumulated in the marathon, reaching a altitude of 1771 meters above sea level.

On the 14th, the challenge is DOWNHILL leaving Campos do Jordão and arriving in Pindamonhangaba, where there will also be 5 and 10 km races.

These numbers present the proposed challenge and the grandeur of the event, placing it alongside the biggest Uphill races in Brazil.
