Run the Bronx

Join us for the 45th Annual Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. 10K, 5K, and 2-Mile Walk on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Rain or shine, this event promises to be a thrilling experience for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The event will take place at Bronx Community College, located at 2155 University Ave, Bronx, NY 10453. Free parking and baggage check-in will be available on campus for your convenience.

Participants can choose from four different courses: 5K, 10K, 2 Mile Walk, or the Virtual Run the Bronx. The prices range from $30.00 to $50.00, depending on the course chosen.

Packet pick-up will be held the week before the event, and race day registration will start at 7:00 a.m. and end promptly at 9:15 a.m. Don't miss out on the opportunity to receive a finisher medal and t-shirt, which will be provided to all participants.

In addition, trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female overall winners in both the 10K and 5K races. Trophies will also be given to the top finishers in various age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 70 and up.

Early registration is available for $30 until Saturday, April 27, 2024. After this date, late registration will be $50, with no special rates for any registrants. However, CUNY students with a valid ID and students in grades 1-12 can participate for free before April 27, 2024.

Please note that registration fees are non-refundable, and a pre-entry form and payment must be received by Saturday, April 27, 2024.

We are committed to ensuring the safety of all participants, and as of January 11, 2023, CUNY no longer requires proof of vaccination or a recent negative test for visitors.
