A 3ª edição da Music Running contará com 3 distâncias, além da categoria KIDS: 3k de caminhada, 5k e 10k de corrida num percurso incrível, cheio de surpresas! O EVENTO A CORRIDA MUSIC RUNNING – ETAPA NORDESTE, SÃO JOÃO DE CARUARU, será realizada na data de 09 de junho de 2024, no município de Caruaru – PE, com horário previsto para CONCENTRAÇÃO às 06h e LARGADA às 07h, com percursos de disputa de 03 (três), 05 (cinco) e 10 (dez) quilômetros, de acordo com a opção de cada INSCRITO, no ato da inscrição, além da categoria Kids. Os atletas deverão dirigir-se ao local de largada com pelo menos 15min de antecedência do horário definido para a largada, quando serão dadas as instruções finais. The course will be disclosed in an illustrative way and may undergo changes due to care for the safety of the participants, the general population, and negotiations with public authorities; It is the participant's obligation to have knowledge of the course in which he is registered; CATEGORIES THE MUSIC RUNNING RACE – NORTHEAST STAGE - SÃO JOÃO DE CARUARU will have a duration of 4 hours and will be disputed in 03 (three) previously determined courses in its registration, being 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km, with 3 km reserved for the walking modality and 5 km/10 km for the running modality. In the General category male and female, the 5 km and 10 km courses will be measured by GPS, Google map as well as according to the guidelines of the Pernambuco Athletics Federation. The participant must choose, at the time of registration, the distance of the RACE course, these being: - 03 (three) kilometers – Male and Female - WALKING modality – PARTICIPATORY RACE; - 05 (five) kilometers – Male and Female - RUNNING modality – COMPETITIVE RACE CONSIDERING THE CLASSIFICATION ONLY AS GENERAL CATEGORY; and- 10 (ten) kilometers – Male and Female - RUNNING modality – COMPETITIVE RACE, CONSIDERING THE CLASSIFICATION AS GENERAL CATEGORY AND AGE GROUP. OF THE DIVISION FOR FINAL CLASSIFICATION BY AGE GROUP (EXCLUSIVE FOR THE 10 km COURSE): According to the determination of the Brazilian Athletics Confederation, in its NORM 12, Art. 1, § 8, which regulates the official categories of Brazilian Athletics, the MINIMUM AGE for athletes to participate in street races with a distance of up to 5 km is 14 (fourteen) years of age and for 10 km races is 18 (eighteen) years of age. The age to be considered, obligatorily, for the purposes of registration and classification by age groups is the one that the athlete will have on December 31, 2024. - Male: 18/29 years – 30/39 years – 40/49 years – 50/59 years – 60 years and over; and - Female: 18/29 years – 30/39 years – 40/49 years – 50/59 years – 60 years and over. There will be no division by age group in the 03 (three) and 05 (five) kilometer courses. AWARDS The time of the athletes will be recorded in the order in which any part of the body/trunk (excluding head, neck, arms, legs, hand, or feet) reaches the vertical plane that passes through the anterior edge of the finish line. For the first three placed (male and female) of the general category, the classification will be by gross time, both for the general category, as well as age group. The first three placements of the male and female categories of 5 km and 10 km will be defined by arrival order. The other placements will be defined by the calculation of the gross time, spent by each athlete to complete the course, defined and delimited by the timing mats, which are below the start/finish arch. In the GENERAL MALE / FEMALE CATEGORY, ONLY FOR THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE 5 AND 10 km CHALLENGES (caput of Item 4), the first three placed for 10 km will receive cash prizes, in cash, at the end of the event, in the following order: 1st place: Male - R$ 350.00 (three hundred and fifty reais); 2nd place: - R$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty reais); 3rd place: - R$ 200.00 (two hundred reais); FOR female 10 km1st place: - R$ 350.00 (three hundred and fifty reais); 2nd place: - R$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty reais); 3rd place: - R$ 200.00 (two hundred reais). For the first three placed for 5 km, they will also receive cash prizes, in cash, or pix at the end of the event, in the following order: 1st place male – R$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty); 2nd place: - R$ 200.00 (two hundred reais) 3rd place R$ 150.00 (one hundred and fifty reais) The same prize will be valid for the female. All athletes who cross the finish line legally, who are regularly registered and without the breach of this regulation, will receive participation medals. Medals and post-race gifts (when available) will not be delivered to people who, even registered, did not participate in the race. To receive the medal, it is mandatory that the athlete is wearing the bib number. Only one medal will be given per athlete. REGISTRATIONS Registrations will be made via the Internet through the website www.ticketsports.com.br from 06/30/2023 to 05/09/2024, or on an earlier date, if the number of registrations reaches the technical limit of available places for the event, with divisions in batches, according to the date of acquisition and/or the limit of availability of the number of registrations available for each batch. The vacancies will be limited to 1500 (one thousand and five hundred) registrations (all Categories) or until the technical limit of the race is reached, respecting the course and the safety of the competitor. For each batch (independent of the registration modality) 300 (three hundred) registrations will be available. The non-perishable food and/or warm clothing will be collected at the time of kit delivery and will be donated to the Corredor Solidário Campaign, whose institution will be duly disclosed in the media and social networks of the event.
