Bailey's Garden Family Fun Run

Welcome to the 16th Annual Bailey's Garden Family Fun Run, Walk or Roll! We are excited to have you join us for this fun event and support our mission of providing assistance to children with disabilities and their families. The event will take place at Lebanon Elementary School in Lebanon, CT.

There are several course options available for participants of all ages and abilities. The 5K Run is open to all and costs $25. There is also a Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run for children ages 6-9, which costs $10. Children ages 5 and under can participate in their own 1/2 Mile Fun Run for free. Additionally, there is a 5K Wheelchair Division, a 5K Duo Team Competitor category, and a 5K Ambulatory Athlete category, each with a $25 entry fee.

Registration will open at 12:00 noon on the day of the event. The Kids Race will start at 1:00 PM, followed by the 5K at 1:30 PM. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups.

This year, we are making the event more inclusive by introducing new categories for disabled athletes. The Wheelchair category is for individuals who require the use of a wheelchair to compete. The Duo Team Competitor category allows one able-bodied partner to push a permanently disabled partner in a wheelchair, with the disabled partner not needing to pay an entry fee. The Ambulatory category is for athletes with permanent physical disabilities. Please note that disabled athletes will have a ten-minute lead time for the 5K race.

We are also expanding the age categories for our younger athletes. The Kids' 1/2 Mile Fun Run will now include separate races for ages 5-9 and ages 5 and under.
